The Bazemore rumors are nuts. He's no 20 Million guy. He's a role player. I sure hope we move on from even thnking about him. Heck, Pat McCaw might not get 1 Million and I think McCaw will be a better pro than Bazemore (his college numbers were much better). That's why I like late first rounders and second rounders who can fill roles. They are nice cheap contracts.

Amen!

With the crazy numbers being given out, if you have to ask yourself if a signing makes sense, it probably doesn't.

I like Bazemore a lot, but we just can't do something like that.

Jeff Green gets 15 Mill in Orlando. Pretty steep price for him.

After seeing the Fournier, Turner, and Mozgov deals i don't think it's terrible. Especially when you consider that the NBA has moved towards a small ball, more agile lineup kind of league. Jeff Green is lucky that he fits exactly what the new NBA mold commands.

Bulls are meeting with Rondo. That's good to hear.

Just like D.Howard, Rondo wears out his welcome everywhere he goes, yet there are still teams that think it'll be different this time. How nice is it to have young, core pieces in place and not have to engage in these pipe dreams?

Well you cannot doubt that they are both extremely talented. The difference is Rondo should come at 10mil cheaper per season. For a team desperate for a starting PG, Rondo is much better option than a Lin, Augustin, Bayless, and should only command a few more million per season.

They're both extremely talented, no doubt. In spite of that talent no team has gone out of their way to keep them around, there must be a good reason for that. Both Atlanta and Chicago are filling a hole in their roster with very talented players, it's just too bad for both that they both bring more than just talent with them.

Uh...Orlando would have done anything to keep Dwight. They only dealt him because he wasn't going to re-sign with them so they got something for him instead of letting him walk for nothing. He had one bad year in LA where everyone blamed him for it not working so he wanted to go somewhere he was wanted. Then he got to Houston and they ended up the second seed in an incredibly talented conference before everyone around him stopped giving a shit on defense leaving him hanging out to dry so he wanted out of that nightmare. I think if he stays healthy there'll be a solid resurgence in ATL with Budenholzer and that staff. You can't get away with not giving a shit on that team. Dwight contributed to a lot of his problems, but he was also scapegoated a lot while talented players around him shit the bed. He hasn't been a superstar since Orlando, but he's been fairly solid since outside of this year offensively where they just stopped giving him the ball. Outside of scoring and usage his other stats have been pretty steady the last 4 years. 17/11/2 blocks and a steal per game is pretty solid for a number 2 guy.
