Prediction: Towns has a 20+ points, 12+ rebounds, 4+ blocks game tonight. Yes, against Vucevic, who I really like.

I agree that Towns is poised for a big night tonight, and I also like Vucevic a lot...he's a double double machine. But while his defense is considered improved, he still ranks low in many defensive measures and is nowhere near the Whiteside level. KAT surprised me with his 14-14 against Hassan, and I look for him to come up big tonight.
Great to see Ricky playing a BTB...really a good sign that he is healing. KG needs a night off once in awhile, and tonight's a good night. Sam is rewarding Payne for his hard work in practice with a start, but he also likes Belly coming off the bench. I'm hoping for a Belly bounce back game tonight.
Fournier is surprisingly their high scorer, but who knows how his illness will effect him. Anyway, I like the savvy, and often grabby, Prince matched up against him to start the game. I also like Wig's length against VO.
We're a 3 -point dog, but this game is there for the taking. A win would be huge, because winnable home games against Detroit and Philly follow. 8-6 by Monday night is not at all out of the question.

Glad you're here. Do you have any words of encouragement, Iinspiration, or wisdom for your esteemed colleagues on this thread?
I do indeed. This is how I start out every GDT. I think if we keep aiming for that 20+ 3 pt attempts number and continue our solid D, we'll be successful again tonight.
I concur!

Rubio is much improved this year as a finisher. I don't have the numbers to support me (right now), but based on my eyes, he's worked on that aspect of his game a lot.

Hmm...did Skiles sub in Hezonga for VO so early because VO is still feeling concussion symptoms, or was he worried about Wig's huge height advantage. Wig towers over VO!
Re: FU Mickey Mouse......GDT
Good defense is a staple of a Scott Skiles team, and we are seeing it tonight. But we play some good defense, too!

Don't Google Fournier

I'd like to see the numbers, because I also think he is much improved inside

Good to see Belly hit his first shot. Nice PG work from Zach. Good 1st quarter. Let's keep it up!

Typical 1st quarter sticky defense. I'm loving Tay Prince...hardly let Fournier touch the ball.
Big first quarter from KAT, and complete domination on the boards...keep it up!
Now, if KMart can contribute something...
