GS is on B2B away game that is usually disadvantage, Rubio/Wig had 2 day rest at home, also it looked that Curry is maybe cooling off a bit, betting companies have us 8-9 points behind that is not that bad actually considering it is 9-0 GS we play against, maybe we actually have some chance

Ok another post about Curry from you. I was going to leave this alone since you had to give up your tickets but... I am trying to figure out who is more fun to watch in the league right now than Steph. AD? I honestly haven't seen him much so maybe it's him. My favorite guy used to be Durant. I'd say Curry is the guy now. He plays like he is running guys at the YMCA. It's fun as hell to watch him. Hopefully you can get to see him play in person later this season.

Am I the only one smelling an upset? I still think teams around the league aren't taking us seriously, and I'm not arguing that they should based on recent history, but they haven't seen Karl-Anthony Towns before either. This is a different team, I think. Golden State played last night, so, they should be off their normally elite game. I think we take them by surprise and get big games from Towns and Rubio, and if Wiggins could keep this mini-stretch where he looks/plays/attacks like a superstar going, that'd be fantastic.

While respecting cool's post about not betting against a streak, I'm right there with you in smelling an upset. Like I said in the original post in this thread, GS is not going to go 82-0 and we're not going 0-41 at home...why not take care of both tonight? Curry and Thompson are a lethal guard duo, but I don't think they have seem length like they will see tonight on them...we really need Ricky and Wig to play big minutes and their best defense on these two studs. If they do, we have a chance against GS and their tired legs tonight.

GS doesn't have real low post scoring threats right? That could help us. its an interesting matchup. I don't think we win but it's the biggest test we have had. It's the first WC power we have faced. If we show out in this game even if we lose that's gonna be pretty encouraging.

And if we're continuing to throw nice tidbits out there... Minnesota's third in the entire NBA in 3P% against at 30.7%... Golden State gets 34.7% percent of their points from three-pointers... And as LST mentioned, we have a length advantage at every position, and unlike last year, we have a defensive anchor swatting shots left, right, and off the backboard in Karl-Anthony Towns...

I agree with those takes, cam...if healthy, we match up defensively with GS as well as just about anyone. The problem is JZ just tweeted, and Sam said on Chad Hartman's show, that Ricky and Wig are game time decisions. If either is out or significantly slowed, we could lose by 20 with the Warrior's ability to put up 3's. But if they're ready to go, we match up surprisingly well.

Barbosa out tonight, so that's one less 3-point shooter that we have to worry about. Iggy and Livingston may be better defenders, but they are less scary beyond the arc. And I think Martin can hunt free throws even off of Iggy when he comes in.
