Just an embarrassment. I feel like pointing out a couple things, but it wouldn't do justice to everything else we did wrong. You need to have a short memory if you're going to be a Wolves fan.

Let's beat that drum into the ground!

So that's the 20th time an opponent has hit at least 10 three pointers?
Wolves have yet to reach the mark.

Heck, they're 3 - 24 in the past two games combined. With the Cavs hitting 16 three pointers tonight, 5 NBA teams have now hit at least twice as many 3 pointers as the Wolves. And the list is growing.

And it's not just the players. I don't think there is any question that on average, our 3 point attempts are much more contested than our opponents. We just don't swing the ball properly, and we don't rotate fast enough on defense.

This is why I want Van Gundy. We aren't defending the 3 pointer. Hearing Jeff talk about it is great and I agree. Defending the 3 is 100% about hustle and position. I love Mitchell's passion but it seems to be directed at the wrong emphasis on D. If we aren't going to make 3s we certainly need to defend them.

We're not terrible defending the 3. We are 18th in the league in opponent makes and 14th in opponent 3pt %, so we are average-ish defending the 3.

Where we suck is at less than 5 feet, which would include everything from getting beat off the dribble to giving up fast break layups. It's the main reason we are near the bottom of the league in opponent 2 pt %....Too many easy looks at the rim.
