Re: Rubio calls out Wiggins for being lazy
I think Ricky knows exactly what the word "lazy" means and used it in a fitting way. Wiggins has played lazy, and to me that's not even a debate. He is not working hard enough while he's on the court. He's not leaving it all on the line like Rubio and Towns are. That has to be frustrating playing next to a guy that's not giving 100%, especially one as naturally talented as Wiggins.

Were only 3 games in and you guys are start piling in on wig. Man, it took 20 games last year for that!
Wiggins is struggling and not making his shots. He is shooting 30% thru 3 games and that happens to every player. If he remains a 30% shooter thru 10 games then that is alarming but 3 games in guys, come on. If he where shooting 40% then he would be averaging 2-3more points easily.
His shot will start falling and his defense is still above average and he gets to the line. I admit that he could do more on moving without the ball but give it more time. Like rubio and sam said, he needs to adjust and he still hasn't yet after 3 games and his shot is off.
Considering that he only played with rubio for 20 games? last season and about 5 games with kg and a total of 0 games with towns and prince then he does have some adjustments to do. He was the focal point on offense last season as we simply give him lots of isolation plays. This season, with a healthy rubio, he wont get as many iso plays for him as rubio should dominate the ball and run a proper offense. Give it time guys, Wiggins wil bounce back. Its been 3 games!

Since the size advantage has done jack shit for Wiggins' offensive game can he please go back to his more natural fit at the 3 so the rotations can go back to normal already? Moving him to the two has shown no benefit to his offensive game and has completely derailed the second unit because of the changes it forced. That move to me has clearly done more harm than good.

I think Wiggins got quite nice amount of shot attempts close to basket in Portland game. He played less than 24 minutes and still had total of 10 lay-up or dunk attempts. In addition he should have got one tip in about his last minute offensive rebound that was wrongly discarded. He just got 4 field goals from his lay-up and dunk attempts. So it was just bad luck in finishing his attempts at rim.
I think that only his outside shooting was bad n Portland game. If referees wouldn't have discarded his late offensive rebound tip in and he would have scored one more of those gimmick lay ups that he missed, Wolves would have most probably won the game, Wiggins would have had 20 pts with 7/18 shooting and 7 rebounds in less than 24 minutes and people here would be praising how well AW played even though his shot was not falling.
