it is improvement, on the other hand i am pretty sure that LAL (hi Kobe) and DEN will be bottom 5 teams when it comes to eFG%, we need bigger sample
I'm being a little silly. I have been an advocate of statistically significant sample sizes on this site for a while. Those two teams were awful. I don't know if we had any games last year where we held opponents below 50% though.

I was wondering what kind of performances the Wolbes had last year so I looked a bit. The Wolves had 4 games they participated in games where the opposition were under 40% shooting (including back to back games against Washington and Chicago) and had a 2-2 record in those games.

Hmm...I'm trying to think what might have happened before those two games against Washington and Chicago to improve our defense so dramatically. I wonder if a certain "overpaid" aging over-the-hill PF might have rejoined the team right before those two games, and completely turned around our defense. Can somebody look it up?
