Lloyd, actually the next 12 games are against teams with losing records (although Clip-joint is back to .500 with a win tonight.
Ah, must have read that wrong, sweet! Time to make a move in the standings then.

You just can't help yourself. Lol
As for Towns not playing as much over the last several games, I'm going to take a guess and say that he's dealing with some type of minor injury. Couple games ago he was seen sitting on the bench with his knee wrapped up pretty well. I hadn't seen it like that until that game. He also doesn't seem to get as many plays ran for him, which might be by design since he might not be 100% right now. The good thing is that he's still out there grinding through games and being productive so whatever it is can't be too bad. I'm thinking maybe a bad bruise on his knee? But I'm not a doctor nor do I have inside information. Strictly an observation and guess from me.
Or I'm wrong and Mitchell's just shaking up the minutes distribution yet again...
Could be that Towns tweaked something, Cam. He still put up pretty good numbers...7 and 8 with 2 blocks in 21 minutes. Well whatever it is, he should be rested for sunday.

It's a long season. Rookies almost always hit a rookie wall, so I have no problem limiting KAT's minutes when Dieng is playing well and the game felt "in control".
Looked like Towns hit his finger or hand on the rim going up to contest a layup. He sat shortly thereafter and didn't come back. Looked ok late in the game but watched him sit on the sidelines holding his hand. Hope everything is ok.

Ah, you're right bayou. I remember that happening I think in the first half. KAT was shaking his hand while his team came down on offense, but he stayed in the game. I forgot about it because I think it was his left hand, but maybe Sam thought G could rebound better down the stretch if Towns' hand was hurting. Whatever it was, it worked. Let's hope the hand is ok.
For those who are concerned with the number of minutes Sam is playing KAT, note that KG averaged about exactly the same number of minutes as a 19-year-old rookie as KAT. There's something to be said for letting a rookie adjust slowly to the NBA game. I'm not saying that limiting KAT's minutes will let him play 20 years like KG has, but it can't hurt.

Sorry Pork Chop, I already posed that question earlier, but I guess great minds think alike. Nobody answered, but I'll say KG. Alex thought Pek might play more than Rubio.

I'm going to say no...even though Ricky has missed a third of our games, he is playing twice the minutes KG is when they both play, and is well ahead of him in total minutes. Sam made it clear when he didn't play KG in the 4th quarter yesterday that he is really monitoring his minutes closely. I also think it's possible that Pek plays more minutes than KG this year.
