Tomorrow is one of my favorite sports days of the year. The last couple deadlines have been disappointing but I have a feeling we'll see a flurry of moves tomorrow.

i think getting Payne means Flip is done with either Thad or AB or both. It probably also means Flip isn't looking at a big in the draft, but of course he'll take Okafor or Towns if he drops far enough. Confusing times at the PF position right now.

I like Payne but I think Flip showed his hand here and other teams know he's desperate to trade Thad?

Not sure how far you think Towns will drop. He's a top-three pick this summer.

Acquiring Payne said more to me about what Flip thought about Bennett, not Young. And in no way should Flip be "desperate" to trade Young. He's a good, versatile player who's just 26-years old and has been all in favor of riding this youth train til they're actually competitive. My gut says Flip keeps him; and Thad doesn't opt out for next year (or re-signs for a longer deal).
