The Cavs underachieved for the first 30 games. After that, they were money and that was WITH Love.
Ahh, never mind. I'm just talking in circles when it comes to LST and Love. It's irrational hate at this point. :dizzy:

I admit I'm not very open minded when it comes to future Hall of Famer Kevin Love, but I wonder if you disagree with either of these statements.
1) Most pundits predicted the Cavs would win far more than 53 games (I think I was lowest on this board with a prediction of 55)
2) The Cavs have been playing their most consistent good basketball since Love got hurt in the Boston series.
Re: NBA Finals - Jerry Zgota
I want the Warriors to win and I think they will win. I like a lot of the players on the team and I like Kerr as well. Do I really care that much? No but I've said the Warriors are going to win and I feel invested in it since I spend a lot of time with someone who is a Levron fan and some of his family is from Cleveland. In a way I'll win either way because I have someone to be happy for if the Cavs win it.

Yes, they underachieved for the first 40 (whoops, I said 30) games, as I said already. After 40 games, they were 20-20, a .500 team already playing without Varejao. That's when they made the Mosgov trade and got back a defensive presence in the middle of their team that they desperately needed. After that, they went 33-9 to end the season. That's a .786 winning percentage WITH Kevin Love. And if you were wondering, that's a pace to win 64 games over an 82-game schedule.
Point being, they were playing great ball with Love. The key component is obviously a healthy LeBron, but don't undervalue Love's contributions like you routinely do.

I'm pulling for Lebron. I think the Warriors win in 5 UNLESS the Cavs are able to take game 1 then I think it is a toss-up

A couple of games against the Hawks should almost not even count. How the Hawks even made that game a game when Horford got ejected I will never know. Besides the real deal is TT has been playing terrific basketball by all accounts and that should be celebrated its what Championship teams do overcome injuries and players step up. We will see tonight the first chapter in this series these teams are coming into the finals with very different stories imo.

I've done a 360 on LeBron over the last couple years. Sometimes u just can't deny greatness. I feel fortunate to have been at the right age to remember and appreciate Jordan ,Lebron and Magic. It's like knowing some old timers that remember watching Mays, Mantle and even Teddy ballgame. I always thought that would've been awesome. I'll have that with basketball.

Don't care. Let's get on to the draft.

I'm pulling for the Warriors. I will always root for the West over the East unless it's the Lakers (Lakers v. Celtics was really tough to pick a side but at least I could root for KG to get a deserved title). I also think the Warriors played a special brand of basketball this year that deserves to be rewarded with a title. I wanted Lebron to win 1 title because he definitely deserved one and he did so I could care less if he wins any more.

I understand the strategy, but it's so boring to watch all the isolation stuff for LeBron. I think that's why I root against him so much. I respect him, but the isolation stuff and him getting away with pushing off bores me. That being said why change what works.
