I don't need to know how the Warriors lost, just that they did. And LeBron is doing everything and then some for the Cavs.

So when the Cavs lose this series you won't argue the context because a loss is a loss right? Or does that only matter when it supports your argument.

Regardless if the Cavs win or lose, the fact they are even being competitive in this series is amazing to me. It's LeBron and a bunch of role players. Hell, the Warriors' bench might be better than the guys LeBron is playing with, yet he's making it a series. Amazing.

Amazing, indeed...and clearly LeBron deserves most of the credit.

But maybe we should start sending some accolades David Blatt's way. This isn't the first time he has succeeded with a roster not competitive on paper with its competition. He won a medal in the 2012 Olympics with a team led by Alexei Shved and AK47...now that's coaching! This guy has won everywhere he has coached, and may turn out to be a really good hire for the Cavs.

I am absolutely in favor of giving LeBron a lot of credit for bringing the guys together on the court, and Blatt for continuing to improve as a coach. I think this team just has a lot of cohesive parts that complement one another in amazing ways. I also feel like Golden State is getting caught up in the moment and they don't have an on-court model to follow. While they are supremely talented, this reminds me of the OKC team that lost to LeBron years ago. They just don't have the experience in leadership in moments like this to completely right the ship and are trying to learn on the fly what it takes to win in the Finals. I think it's shaping up to be a great series.

Let's give some credit to the other guys on the Cavs. Delly's defense (and the cavs team concept) was terrific Curry just wasn't getting good looks much of the game, Mosgov is playing terrific and James Jones gave them a huge lift last night. The Cavs played a hell of a game no way how you look at it with what they have to work with to even compete much less win a game.

I think Kerr has gone away from Bogut at times already but he may need to go with a quicker player to keep Mosgov and TT off the boards. I also think they will make some adjustments to get Curry open looks.

Also I can't remember who all told me to get the Ball Streams subscription but THANK YOU!!!!! It's been fantastic. It's the best money I've spent on media entertainment in a long time. HIGHLY recommended.

I'm not the biggest LeBron fan, but I've been rooting for him and the cavaliers since the hawk series. He's carrying teams with 1/3 the talent of their opponents. 30+ pts, 15 rebounds, 12ish assists seems like something he can and will do any night to win. I enjoy basketball and we are llucky to witness what he is doing right now. I wish he had made that game winning layup, but it made for dramatic basketball with LeBron actually getting jobbed on a few calls and them still pulling it out in overtime.

LeBron has matured a lot since his self-aggrandizing "Decision" years ago. He's much more likeable these days, especially as the underdog.

Well Q, thank you for bringing that up. The "Decision" was the main reason I lost respect for, or began to root against, LeBron. I believe that rings true for many fans of basketball. I understand chasing titles, but I do not agree with treating a fanbase/team the way LeBron did in that "Decision". Most fans, and at this point even LeBron, realize that it was the wrong way to go about his choice. I regained a lot of respect for LeBron by the way he handled going back to Cleveland though. He realized he wronged Cleveland by doing the "Decision", and did not hold a grudge against the owner for the things said against LeBron when he left. He grew up, realized he did his hometown dirty, not by leaving, but by creating a huge drama fest. He decided that bringing a championship to his hometown was of #1 importance. That lack of a championship is what drove the fanbase and the owner to make the brash decisions/statements about the "savior of Cleveland" leaving in such an ugly way. Him returning home, and living up to being the elite player/leader he is makes it very easy to root for him. I did root against him when he was in Miami, because I felt it was the easier road, but now, with injuries especially, he has no choice but to grind through the tough road, and he is proceeding to break all expectations with his team. Many did not believe he could win a title with Love and Kyrie, but now he is on the cusp of upsetting a West Conference juggernaut with starting players that would be coming off the bench on many, many teams. Very impressive.. I do like LeBron. He is cocky/confident on the court, but he is very humble during interviews off the court. There is a ton to like about him as both a person and a player. The next games in Cleveland will be a ton of fun to watch!

Does anybody still claim he's not an all-time great?

I'm not a Pro-James guy. I want him to fail. To be fair, I felt the some way toward Jordan. But damn... if you don't have to respect them time and again for how good they are.

I really think the thing that separates him from other MVP-types like Curry and Harden is that he can go grab 15 or 16 rebounds when he really has to. Folks kind of take that for granted and instead focus on his shooting and scoring, but rebounding is a huge factor because it helps win the possession battle.

There is simply no one that can handle, score, pass, defend, and rebound as effectively as he can. If there was ever the concept of a "5-tool" player in basketball, it's LeBron James. He does it all.

The question I keep asking myself is if I've ever actually seen a completely rounded 5 tool player, and I haven't until now. Nobody has ever been as complete a player as we are witnessing with LeBron. Ultimately, his top 5 status will hinge on how many championships he ends up with, but through and through its hard to deny that he is the most gifted basketball player of all time.

God I always wanted Jordan to lose too. He had me convinced that the NBA was totally rigged. But in the back of my mind I always knew that it was because he was amazing. Lebron is so unique in a number of ways. It is hard not to be amazed. I love having players that you dislike who are great, its what makes sports so fun to watch. Like wrestling villains. I think my top sports villain was always Favre. Which made it so strange when he came to the Vikes. And now looking back at it that season was one of my favorite Vikings seasons despite the usual heartache.

One of the biggest problems I have with LeBron is how he bitches whenever he doesn't get a call. He gets his fair share of times when the refs look the other way when he extends his forearm to create space on his drives. Seems like an entitled punk and I've heard a few bad moments off the court

That's what everyone does. Duncan is the king of the exasperated shock whenever he gets called for a foul, Love is the lord of throwing his hands up after a no call and complaining as he jogs back on D, and the entire Clippers including their coach all believe that the refs are personally trying to murder their families.
