Vikings ranked 4th in ESPN Power Rankings

Post by Wolvesfan21 »

IDK if I would put them that high myself. We still don't have a legit starting good QB and I'm not sure how well Teddy can get back to form or if Bradford could magically heal up.

Thoughts?

I think it's fine. Case has been more good than bad. Really it's game manager who protects the ball with an elite defense. It don't think it's a reach. The real test will be next week against the Rams.

Well...ask yourself this question. Who is actually good in the NFL this year? I'm not saying the Vikings are #4 but I'm not sure who is all that good right now. They may be rolling with a backup QB but their offense is still rolling and their defense is pretty good. Maybe it won't last but yeah I think you get what I mean. It's another season of get into the playoffs and see what happens.

Their second half schedule is much more difficult than their first half so they better find a way to limit the mistakes that they've managed to overcome thus far. With their defense they should be in every game, but their special teams and offense has to step it up if they're to have success in the final 8 games!

And no, I wouldn't rank them that high... but then I also think power ranking are meaningless click bait.... but the Wolves are ranked at or about 4th in many too, so there's that!

Of course it doesn't matter but it's an interesting talker. If Teddy comes back and plays well, I can see the 4 ranking. And you're right, they really haven't beat anyone yet. Their schedule gets tougher now.

Top 4 - WOW

I feel like we have not beaten anyone besides the Saints. We have won games, but done so in ugly fashion. If we can do that against the Redskins, Rams, and Panthers that will cement the ranking. It would be great to go 6-2 in second half of the season, but think 4-4 is more likely.
