You don't play Wiggins at all this summer. What's the point? He's been playing over 40 minutes a game all season.

AB will wow us at summer league and then proceed to get hurt in the first game next year.

You are missing your 2nd round picks or maybe they don't have anything to work on? Lol sorry I couldn't help it. :)

Not sure there was ever any real doubt about this.

@JerryZgoda: Zach surprised me today when he said he's open to playing in Vegas this summer. Said he loves to play and that pace is his kind of style

I send Lavine, Payne, Bennett, Bazz, Heslip----LOL.

Summer league is good for these guys. Send all of the first and second year guys that we think need more experience (minus Wiggins who's already on the Canadian team).

It's the international competition that worries me! Summer leagues guys are all there to make an impression----they don't try to play hard with perhaps intent to "harm". No real hard evident, just my worry wart hunch.

Look at Durant. He took off from the US team (after P. George got hurt...right?), and he still suffered his foot injury and done for the year.

Injuries just happens. We can't worry about them.

From a fan perspective, we would love to see all these guys in summer league. But I'm not sure there is much precedent for guys who have been on rosters for two full years already to play in SL. For that reason, I don't expect to see Bazz or AB.

Right - sloppy, free-wheeling ball with a lot of one-on-one and chucking. We already know he's pretty good at this style of ball! I don't think the Summer League will help him at all, but yeah, us fans can enjoy watching him run around out there.

Agree, Q...Summer League is much more about giving us basketball junkies something to watch in the summer, and not much about player development. There's a reason they hold it in Vegas!

We all know it's bad basketball and it's really tough for bigs to look good at times with the style of play but I do think there is some value in it. It seems like the trend is just do workouts and stuff in the offseason and not play basketball. This is a chance to play basketball games and in some cases play with guys you will actually play with in the regular season. How much do these games help development? Idk but especially with a playoff format it's something.

Bennett better be playing in SL if he is healthy. He needs any chance he can get to play games build confidence etc. it looks like based on the OKC game he got the green light to shoot 3's. We can use all the help we can get in that area.
