OK, I may have reached my limit in Adreian Payne and Anthony Bennett discussion, so it's time to start focusing on what's coming up. Here's a little preview to get you fired up!

Some upcoming dates to keep in mind:

1) Monday 9/28. 11-2:30. Media Day Always a fun day.

2) Tuesday 9/29: First official practice

3) Monday 10/5. 6PM. Open scrimmage at TC.

4) Wednesday 10/7. 7PM. First pre-season home game against OkC. 7 PM

5) Wednesday 10/28: 9:30 PM. Regular season opens against the Lakers at Staples. Who's staying up for this one?

6) Monday 11/2: 7PM. First home game against Portland:

7) June 19. Game 7 of the NBA FINALS...optimists should keep this night open, unless you think the Wolves will close out the series before Game 7!

Finally - a path forward! Thanks LST. I've been watching for a camp schedule and haven't really seen anything. I knew it was coming up soon. Surprised there hasn't been more buzz knowing it's literally next week! Finally get to start reading 1st hand reports of all these guys together in camp. Can't wait!

Finally - a path forward! Thanks LST. I've been watching for a camp schedule and haven't really seen anything. I knew it was coming up soon. Surprised there hasn't been more buzz knowing it's literally next week! Finally get to start reading 1st hand reports of all these guys together in camp. Can't wait!

I think Flip's health has killed some of the buzz. Flip had a lot of energy had his hands in everything and for almost everyone associated with the organization and fans it takes a little out of you. Of course you have to move on and all that but that's part of it.

Bennett's buyout overall isn't exactly positive buzz either.

Right before TC is also a bit of a dead time in general. There is too much to get excited those recent downers will be overcome fairly quickly relatively speaking and people will be plenty excited for the future. Thanks LST for this thread I can't believe it's almost basketball time! That's a very well done video.

I think you are exactly right about Flip's health killing the buzz. I guess understandably so. I hope he's doing well. It will be interesting to see how this team starts out without him. They say you don't lose your job because of an injury. But if the team plays well for Sam, I can't see them pulling Sam back to let Flip coach. It just wouldn't make sense IMO. I guess "playing well" is the operative phrase though.
