Ryan Saunders is hoping that's the direction the team goes.

He might get to keep his job...

He won't come here. I think he likes his job and no money will get him to change.

That's true. Whenever I hear JVG, I think that's exactly what pork would have said.

He absolutely would come here, he wants to get back into coaching as he was in the running for the Pelicans job, he was asked to coach the Wolves by Flip last season but Jeff told him he needed to coach them one more year. He sees the two huge building blocks on this team.

Hubie Brown sounds like the smartest guy in the world when he's on commentary, doesn't mean I want him coaching

I hope you are right, but I look at the job as it still sucks.

What difference would a year make considering this team hasn't learned anything this season?

We added Towns and people have seen him play now and be a borderline all-star as a rookie. Wiggins is already a 20 PPG scorer even while struggling. The baseline of this team is higher than it was going into the season. If you're a coach, would you rather be coaching through this shit season or get to take over next year during Towns' sophomore year and Wiggins's third year which is when the leap typically happens? They all got to skip an almost guaranteed crappy year and can start out with an even higher baseline next year to come in and fight for a playoff spot right away.
