Young, Played out of position at SF a lot of the year. Didn't play a ton of minutes. Portis and C Woods would be in this mix for me as well. I think by the time you hit 6 the draft is full of about 10-15 players at the same tier. You pick who you think will work best for you. I don't see a center past 5 that I think will help as much as some of the PF's and no wings that would crack our rotation. Really grasping at straws at this point of draft for me.
I know you are not a Noah Vonleh guy, but where would he fit in this draft if he wouldn't of come out?
He's got legit PF size, but has had to play 3 to get minutes. He's a pretty well rounded offensive player. He's had a solid but not special tourney. His shot looks good enough where it may extend to the 3 point line someday. He's even tougher to gauge then the other Kentucky players because of his low minutes and playing out of position, but I wouldn't be surprised if he looks good come workout time.
I know about Lyles, and I like him, but I wouldn't drop him in my top-10 right now. When evaluating him, it's a guessing game due to how Kentucky used him. I agree his workouts should be telling, though. Need to see more of him playing PF and not on the wing, however if he can handle both consistently, that'd be a plus for him.
Bleed, I'd have Vonleh outside of the lottery in this draft.

He's played well enough in the tourney to solidify a top-20 grade.
I'm curious as to why you weigh Sam Decker's tourney play more than a Justice Winslow?
I'm not weighing one more than the other. I could just as easily have said that Winslow's tourney play solidified him with a top-10 grade (he's been a top-10 guy for me all year long).
It's that I don't see Dekker making it out of the first round, and the post I replied to asked about getting Dekker in the second round. All I did was put top-20 next to the guy, and like Cool said, maybe someone gets jumpy and takes him late lottery.
I wonder if Dekker is one of these guys that is somewhat held back by the system he plays in, which is slow-paced and methodical. He shoots over 60% from 2-point land, which is pretty incredible for a wing player. His 3-point shot is more inconsistent. I just wonder how he'd look in a more wide open system that pushes the pace.

Maybe I should have states BPA/team need for the top 6. After that I'm more curious who people think will be players in the league, who will be busts etc.
6 is really hard. I went to 7 because I am not sure who I would select at 6. I would go for a young potential stretch PF.
I think Stanley is a bust and I really worry about WCS and Frank being on the old side and having to adjust to the NBA game. WCS has played next to 3 high lottery picks which is helping him a lot. Stanley can't finish and coach has been on him. I think Stanley and Lyles would be smart to come back for another year.
I agree Lyles and Stanley need another year in college to showcase their talents. Rondae Hollis Jefferson and stanley are rather redundant so id like to see him be the man next year, and Lyles was buried by other Kentucky bigs.
I see more bust than star in Stanley at this point as well, but if he comes out I think he still becomes a solid role player.
Hard to argue with your WCS case, but he also has very unusual athleticism for a 7 foot big. His defense is elite though even if he's been surrounded with good talent.
