What does the board think of Tyler Harvey? Wasn't expecting him to declare, but I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't intrigued with his talent. His numbers are ridiculous too.

All I know about him is he's been near the top of the ppg list, have you seen him play?

Is he anything like Curry? Just taking a quick look at the two they seem to be similar size, similar small D1 situation, and similar stats.

Wow, great find Cam! I know nothing about him, but he led the nation in scoring and shot .47/.43/.90. Almost 3 assists a game too, so he's not a butcher handling the ball. 6'4", so not terribly undersized for a SG. Sounds more like Curry than McCollum, because even though they all went to small schools, only CJ never faced good competition. Eastern Washington had non-conference games against California, Washington, SMU, Indiana and Georgetown, and Harvey averaged about 25 PPG in those 5 games. Here's an article about him...grew a foot since 9th grade and played at powerhouse Bishop Montgomery in Riverside.

It will be interesting to see how he plays in the workouts, and where he ends up going in the draft. Certainly intriguing.

Can someone explain to me how Portis' long, slow release on his jumper with his near 1" of lift off the ground is going to work at the next level? They're either going to let him shoot it because he sucks or they're going to have a ton of time to recover and challenge the shot.

Jay Bilas was just on Grantland on ESPN talking about the draft.

Okafor or Towns - a good discussion here. Okafor is sick with his offense, Town is PERCEIVED to have a higher ceiling, better rim protector. BUT--

they moved on to Justice Winslow, who Coach K compared (privately) to DWade, and Jay Bilas comared on the air to Harden. They then discussed that the NBA is a wing league now, and the draft isn't really keeping up with the trands in the game. Intersting. All agreed Winslow is a serious talent.

Mudiay - Bilas sees him as a playmaking point guard, at 6' 5" expects him to go top 4 or 5.

WCS - Billas likes him compares him to DeAndre Jordan, right now he is a defensive specialist, he will grow from there and be in the league "a long, long time". He likes him in the top 7 "in this draft".

I've always liked Bilas. My question is, do we need Winslow more than a big? Wiggs moves to shooting guard, and do we have two future stars?

Not sure why you think Portis' release is an issue. Looks average in terms of speed and getting it off. It's certainly faster than Payne's and you advocate for him often.

I wasn't even saying he sucks now. Learn to read. I said defenses either won't care about him because he sucks (didn't say he does suck, simply that he might) or they can recover to him quickly. I can't help you if you think that is an ok jumper speed wise. Also don't call me pissy just because I ask a fucking question. I'm sorry for questioning one of your guys. God forbid we raise legitimate questions about player you like.

I guess I'm leaning towards Mudiay or Russell. I'd like to have another guard, plus I want flip to fix this pf/c mess by not getting a big.

He has 2 backups in Payne and AB. Show us you can make one a good NBA starter. You have one year.

For what it's worth, Portis is one of the prospects i'll call being a bust right now.

Great story! I would love to some how land him. He would almost instantly be the best shooter on this team since Hoiberg.
