I feel like NBA players begin to understand the game by their 3rd year, and are generally done by their 13th.

For the most part, teams that win field veterans that fall within that range and allow new players and old players to fill in the blanks.

Our players that fit into that range include:

Ricky Rubio, Kevin Martin, Shabazz Muhammad, Nicola Pekovic and Gorgui Dieng and Bjelica and Wiggins are exceptions (Bjelica because he's mature and in his prime and Wiggins because he proved his ability when he needed to last year..

Beyond that, I'm not sure wtf Sam is thinking if he's really planning on starting Zach Lavine over Kevin Martin. I love KAT but I think he has to earn and learn. He can have his spells, but he needs to earn a spot.

Tyus Jones shouldn't see the floor unless Rubio and Miller are out.

I'm scared to death that we're going to put a bunch of players that aren't ready for prime time on the court again this year and absolutely stink up the joint . . . I don't know that I have another year in me.

I guess you haven't been impressed with Karl-Anthony this preseason... He's deserving of the starting job from what I've seen, even with his tendency to fall for pump fakes. He will cut that down a lot by the break.
