TV Time!
Finally a friggin' game on TV so I can watch something other than a crappy stream that freezes every 5 seconds. As down as I've been on these guys so far this preseason, they can make it all go away with a couple of good performances these last tw games. I hope the experimenting is almost over and we start seeing some normal rotations so everyone can get a better gauge of where we are at. I'll be watching tonight!
Re: TV Time!
Yeah, I can understand the experimenting, but with only 2 preseason games left, I am anxious for Sam to start building some consistency in the starting lineup and rotations. You know, things like:
- How about using one of our 3 backup PGs - Miller, Tyus, LoBrown - to backup Rubio instead of Zach?
- Are we really going to start Prince at SF for a 3rd straight game?
- Would it make sense to play the guy projected to get the majority of our PF minutes, Bjelica, more than 11 minutes?
Sam's only questions ought to be:
- Who gets the backup PG minutes, Miller or Tyus?
- Who starts at SG, Martin or Zach?
- Who gets the backup SF minutes, Bazz, Prince or Rudez?
Come on, Sam. Let's get the party started for the regular season!

Agreed Doug. These last 2 games should look more like a regular season game with respect to starters/minutes/rotations.

Jabari Parker is out for tonight's game. I'm thinking Wiggins is long over due for a break out game and tonight will be it!

I would be all for the Wolves shutting down Wiggins and KG down for the rest of the preseason. Starting Shabazz and Bjelica and letting them play big minutes.

ESPN says both the Wolves game and the Bulls/Pacers game are supposed to be on NBAtv at 8pm, and I get the latter unfortunately. Oh well.

Not sure if you are local or not, but the game will be on FSN here in the Twin Cities area. This is the 1st game they are showing on FSN, so first real good look at the team for a lot of us. I have to believe final cuts will be announced soon too....

Hmmm....I get the injury concern Bleed. But I don't think these guys have done enough to sit yet. I'm hoping to see regular 1st unit out there for half the game at least - more if they look like crap. Let's be honest....an injury isn't going to ruin this team's playoff hopes this year :-). I say play 'em!

The line up is in:
Jerry Zgoda ?@JerryZgoda 7m7 minutes ago
Wolves sticking with same lineup -- Rubio, Wiggins, Prince, KG, KAT -- tonight vs. Bucks, I believe

Puzzling. I can't think of a single good reason for this that aligns with any of the varying objectives of the team. Development? Nope. To take offensive pressure off Wiggins? Nope. To space the floor? Not really. Because he's our best wing defender? No again.
