If there's a lesson to be learned here it's that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

What a difference 14 minutes makes.

Did we make a basket after Zach subbed in for Ricky? I'll have to check the play by play.

This whole business of Zach as backup PG has me completely pessimistic about the upcoming season. It's so damn depressing!

Little Saunders, Little Adelman and Sid Lowe need to go! I don't mind Sam as an assistant, but the rest need to go.

Here's when you know you're probably not a PG...when Shabazz Muhammad has as many assists as you do.

Looks like it. Tell me if this line looks familiar:

Wolves shooting 33.3%
Opponent shooting 53.0%

Not hard to figure out why we're down by 20.

Yeah, and then add in being outrebounded 44-27...surprised we're not down 30.

I'm revising my 26 win projection down to 23.

It's all part of Sam's Master Plan fellas. He's lowering expectations so we can sneak up on teams when the real games start!

Worst moment of the night: the camera shot of Sidney Lowe, Sam Mitchel and David Adelman sitting along side one another on the bench. That's the Wolves brain trust running the team. That's why I felt compelled to reduce my win total projection.

I never played High School basketball. But I could have been this team's leading scorer tonight if they would have gotten me the ball. Why can't these guys make shots?
