Cavs Offering 24th Pick

My thought: How could we make something happen with Bud and one of our second rounders? Probably they'd also ask for Payne. I'd rather offer them Bennett! Would be nice to get Wright. Usually teams overpay for these picks this time of year, but Bud is useless to us.

I wouldn't offer Martin. He's too good and on too reasonable a deal just to get the 24th pick.

Cav's might take #31 + minor considerations to get this done. #31 would actually be just as valuable to them.

Is Bud good enough to qualify as minor considerations?

I don't know if we could be THAT lucky.

You're right though about the #31 pick. They could probably trade that for as much as the #24, because it's not guaranteed, and because you could draft a Euro to stash and bring over on a more enticing contract.

I'd trade them no young talent, martin, nor the euro.

If they want budinger, Hummel, and the 36th its a deal. Or somehow to take peak, sure. Otherwise I pass.

I would think so. I think he could carve out a decent end of the bench role player type for them. I wish we had more cap space because I would eat Heyward and Wallace's salary with Boston for first round picks. Look for the 76ers to go that route.
