We already have a lefty. Show me a championship team with 2 lefties. You can't can you? :-)

The article is good but the narrative about getting these perimeter players and that's the way to wind is starting to drive me crazy. Like cam said in another thread a few days ago "there is no one formula". GS iland the Spurs are not an example of small ball to win its about assembling the most deepest talent you can possibly get have a system in place and be able to be teams because you are more talented and therefore be able to do whatever you want. The Mavs were somewhat of that example too when they won the Championship.

I guess what I am saying is that I don't buy into all this stuff about what the game is today and so you should pick this guy and not that guy. I just think Towns is the best complete prospect in this draft especially considering our bigman situation. If we had no need for a big I would have spent time researching what I thought of Russell and may have been all for taking him. Towns just makes too much sense it doesn't matter what era he falls in.

I still think if you could get a top 6 pick for Ricky, looking at Russell at #1 makes some sense. I'm not saying I would do it, just that it is an intriguing alternative.

You do realize if he becomes a rotation player somewhere else you were still wrong about him?

Mighty big if. I just don't want Bennett here anymore.

PS: I'm not wrong about him.
