Bledsoe on the block

Post by khans2k5 [enjin:6608728] »

Just saw that Eric Bledsoe is on the block. They're trying to get the 4 pick from the Knicks for him. Do we have the firepower to get him? Would they take Rubio and parts for him? Bledsoe and Knight are pretty similar players with Bledsoe just being a better athlete. Bledsoe gives us an upgrade at point in regards to scoring and he's a decent playmaker. He's also probably a better defender than Ricky because he's an elite athlete. Both guys have had their issues with injuries. We might not have enough to get him, but I think that would be an interesting upgrade.

Bledsoe is an interesting case for me. I like a lot about his game.

But is he more Eric Gordon or James Harden? Gordon will never live up to his contract. Harden proved worthy of his, obviously. Bledsoe... I just don't know what/who he is ultimately yet.

[Note: But I think I do the Rubio + parts trade if possible. That's a lot of athletic guys who can score. Plus, Bledsoe is a solid defender as well. Maybe Flip is following the trend with a team that can switch interchangeably on defense?]

I don't think we'd give up enough to get him.

Sacramento could be a landing spot for bledsoe in exchange of the 6th pick and parts. Reunites him with dmc.

Now, we have a trade exception worth around 6m in the love trade right? Do you think we can be a 3rd team and get collison from the kings with our trade exception? We have some expirings in Ab and buds deal along with rights to bjelica and 2 seconds to dangle to make salaries match. Collison would be a very good backup pg for us.

Love this idea. I really like Collison. Solid backup that can certainly play starter minutes when called upon.

What about a three way deal. Obviously we covet Bledsoe so why not a deal having rubio to sacramento for #6 which goes to phoenix and bledsoe here? Heard rumors of a bledsoe and 13 to knicks for 4 so i would think this deal would work well.

If got really crazy would try to add lavine muhammad bennett and pek to get back cousins too. I know this one is crazy but we can dream right.

Bledsoe wiggins and towns is a hell of a core.

I don't see how we would get Bledsoe. I also worry that the guy has been injury prone in the past and we tend to be unlucky with that type of player.

I also don't think that Wolves could get Bledso without giving 1st pick, Wiggins or Lavine. I think that Suns try to get potentially better player for Bledsoe and thus they are willing to give even other assets for potential deal.
