I'll co-sign this one. I think he's going to be a defensive game-changer, and will thrive in that role as well as being an efficient garbage man on offense.

Lol...

Really? So, the 2nd-round prospect who couldn't get playing time ahead of Cauley-Stein is going to outplay him at the next level, where odds are even further against him? Nope, I'm not seeing it.

DeAndre Jordan was also backup in college but it didn't prevent him to become dominating center in NBA. Jamaal Magloire was backup to Michael Bradley in Kentucky but Magloire was much better NBA player, so this wouldn't be impossible.

I like Dakari Johnson a lot as NBA prospect. Unlike WCS, he does have at least enough size to hold a position as a center also in NBA. I think WCS success in NBA depends on mainly whether he is strong enough to play center. Even though he can for sure guard NBA power forwards, in offense he is pure center.

I noticed from Dakari Johson's draft express profile some concerning facts. It seems that most of the 10 pounds that he has gained from last year has been fat since his body fat had increased from 10.5 to 14.9. Also his vertical jumping measurements were much worse than one year ago. This raised a question for me whether he has enough motivation to be successful in NBA. If he will work hard enough in NBA, he could be next 2nd round steal as a rebounding and shot blocking big.
