Although this question has crossed my mind: If the Wolves were to use their Love trade exception before July 1st, would that put them into luxury tax territory?

I forgot about trade exceptions the Wolves have one from the Brewer trade also right?

Yeah. I think it was somewhere around 3 mil...

I saw somewhere that the Love TPE was 6.3+ mil. Jarrett Jack would fit right in there! ;-)

Hmmm...

Greivis Vasquez in a press conference in Venezuela said the Rockets and the Timberwolves are interested in him, as per @basketvinotinto

When he didn't agree to a workout with the Lakers, I was convinced.

Towns wants a great mentor like Garnett. Favorite line of that article.

Nice! We know you want Okafor badly, and believe Towns is undeserving of being picked #1. And you took an innocent quote, picked one part of it, and bastardized into "Towns wants a great mentor like Garnett", as though it's something bad.

I think he had a great quote, and there is absolutely truth to learning from someone like Garnett. You think there isn't?!?

"It would be a blessing and an honor to even have a chance to play for Minnesota and be able to have the chance to play for a great organization and learn from a great mentor like Kevin Garnett," Towns said then.

No Tim. I am actually a huge Garnett as mentor supporter and have taken some flack for me so pro-Garnett. I think that Garnett is a really good match to mentor Towns and am fully on board with Towns as a wolf. He deserves #1 if that is where he's picked. I just want Okafor more.

My apologies for interpreting your quote as sarcasm.

And I agree 100%. Garnett should prove to be a tremendous influence in the development of the team this coming season. I think Q even has a phrase for it! (Although he is being mostly sarcastic!)

Great News if in fact we do draft him and keep him.
