Some of you act like Hinkie isn't one of the most unpredictable decision-makers in the NBA. He could easily trade up to our spot selling that he'd take a guard and just as easily take a big.

There's absolutely no reason to get cute with this. Take the best player on your board and be thrilled with him.

It's embarrassing how much garbage some of you are eating up from the media. These guys all recycle the same rumors because it's May. No top prospect is doing anything right now other than shoot jumpers by himself and post up folding chairs. If you think Flip, on May 19th, has made his mind on who he wants to draft at #1, you should buy some of these magic jumping beans I have.

YES! Well said Zig. Some are being absolutely ridiculous lately.

In talking about the roster, Flip mentioned K-mart, whether starting or coming off the bench. And he talked up Bjelica a bit, too!

I will be surprised (and disappointed) if Flip opts for Okafor over Towns.

Good stuff.

I forgot to mention one other Flip comment in addition to K-Mart starting or coming off the bench. He said LaVine is a 2-guard, but his experience at the point this past year will help make him an even better 2-guard.

I do believe we are looking at a K-Mart/LaVine platoon at SG, with the starting spot going to LaVine when he is ready for it (which is probably not right away).

That makes me feel better.

Hey, I wonder if anyone has any opinions on Kevin Martin staying with our squad? :o

I do. I do!!!

I think a guy getting paid $7M who went for 28 or more points in 1/4 of his games is actually sort of a steal in the soon-to-be-higher capped NBA era.

I am in the minority with Abe. Quality shooters do not grow on trees. Keep all the talent you can and sort out the rotations later!

Very well said, abe. KMart will continue to play a narrow, but productive role for this team as they patiently wait for Lavine to show he can be a starting 2...and we get Martin's production at a very reasonable cost. Keep him for another year or two.
