Maybe he gets 2 picks from CLE and flips one of our current wings for Gibson? That would be legit!

Is this a real rumor?

No, but it makes sense for both sides, in my opinion. Doubt it happens, thus why Flip would be a champion.

1) Man, am I glad I've gotten rid of that headache.

2)Man, do I have a lot of work to do with this young team, but they are really athletic...this is going to be fun!

3) Rubio re-signing is an absolute must. These young guys needs easy buckets.

Yep, and

4) I kinda like what I'm seeing offensively on the court right now...I had a good draft! But I gotta get Sam Mitchell working with these guys on defense...we cant be getting lit up by Quincy Acie!

I would like to see Dieng start at the 4 if we get Wiggins and Bennett. Bennett/Pek would be worse than Love/Pek defensively and Bennett can be our sixth man scoring punch in the frontcourt next to Ronny on the second unit. A Ricky/Lavine/Wiggins/Dieng/Pek lineup would be very balanced right out of the gate. It'd be icing on the cake if we could turn Martin, Bud and Brewer into Eric Gordon. Ricky/Gordon/Wiggins/Dieng/Pek starting with a Lavine/JJ/Robinson/Bennett/Ronny second unit would be an acceptable lineup for losing a star in my opinion.

It's going to be fun to watch the Cavs a couple hours later, knowing that Wiggins and Bennett are more likely now to be Wolves...that is, if they even play.

I like Dieng and was happy we drafted him last year. But he has a long way to go and is nowhere near being a starting caliber NBA player, especially at the PF position.

Why would Chicago just give up the backup that will play alot even before Gasol and Noah miss their decent chunk of game you can bank on them missing? Thats not going to happen.

Who's your starting 4 then because Bennett is no closer to being starting caliber than Dieng? Dieng can guard 4's and he knows how to play in the high post which is all you need when playing next to Pek. I get that he couldn't do it against small ball 4's, but that's not a matchup most Western Conference teams use.

Fuck Boston and Golden State. If Cleveland offers what Flip wants, this is a done deal.
Perhaps Flip would prefer Klay Thompson to Andrew Wiggins, not everybody is sold on Wiggins.

Hell, I'm not even sold on Wiggins. But I'll roll the dice on his high ceiling and rookie contract instead of a for sure No. 2 option in Thompson on a max contract. No thanks.

I'm with you, Cam. Like you, I'm not sold on Wiggins. But I'm up for some hope and excitement in Wolvesville and a combo of Wiggins, Bennett and a future pick would fill the bill.

Im feeling good about this. I wanted wiggins for love since before the draft. Let this be the deal. Im okay with losing brewer and as ive said many times, i dont really care if we can get tristan, waiters or bennet as long as we get wiggins. So if we do get bennet then thats a bonus.

I hope that we do the rumored martin/bud for gordon that has been rumored. That will trim down our wing rotation and open a rosterspot.

Like khan mentioned. I wont mind starting the season with wiggins/ dieng/ pek/ rubio/ gordon starting five. Lets roll with that and see what happens. Make this happen flip. Go get wiggins!
