LaVine's the real deal, as is Gorgui.

And it was a really big play down the stretch. That's how I want him to attack every time he gets near the rim. Sometimes he settles for a tough lay.

If Flip hit on the Lavine pick, which looks very possible, you have to hand it to him.

Great win for the Wolves.

Lavine was great for the whole game (played both pg and sg) and at the end had a great dunk and a great assist to Fesenko to seal the win.

Dieng & Fesenko had also a good game.

In my opinion Shabbaz had a bad game offensively (although his stats sheet doesn`t show that, didn`t find his place on the team today)

Had a bad first half. Was much, much better in the second half. Got to the line and cashed in. Ran the floor hard on fastbreaks. Got a left hand push shot to go on the left baseline. It's when he thinks he has to carry the team by himself is when it's frustrating to watch.

Camden, that`s correct and I agree with you, but my point is that I felt that Shabbaz doesn`t blend with the team offensively (Forced bad shots on the first half), didn`t see any skills of him in the game, beside good effort & will

Is it just me or is Shabazz judged much harsher than any pick in recent years. Which suprises me cuz its not like he was a lottery pick. Yes Wes and Derick got their share of criticism but not at this level. And they were lotttery pics. Seems to me most just want to see him fail becuz so many were against the pic on draft nite. In the bit minutesI saw from him in real games he showed some promise. Yet we dwell on SL games. I understand some frustration but remember that was a shitty draft and pickings were slim.

I agree that Bazz isn't good enough to go out and create his own offense. He's still a scorer, but you can't just isolate him out on the wing and tell him to get you a bucket. First off, he'll go left almost every single time. Some day opposing defenses will figure this out. Second, his first step isn't very quick, which is why he almost never gets all the way to the rack on his drives. That's the whole reason he developed a push shot - so that he could get his shot off over the last defender that beats him to the spot.

His sheer hunger to score carries him to a large degree, which is why he probably does best with other guys that can draw attention and get him the ball in the few spots he can be effective in.
