Am I wrong for thinking we could/should include some role players in a Cleveland trade? Also, Cleveland should be interested in them as well as long as they're healthy, which it looks like they are.

CLE: Love, Brewer, Turiaf = $22.1M

MIN: Wiggins' rights, Waiters, Thompson, Bennett, Hopson (waived), Haywood (waived) = $19.6M (without Wiggins cap hold)

Cavs lineup:
PG: Irving / Dellavedova (replaceable)
SG: Brewer / *Allen
SF: James / **Miller
PF: Love / ***Haslem
C: Varejao / Turiaf

* - Allen will play wherever James goes. Been pretty vocal about it.

** - Miller and James are very close. Reports are Miller's close to agreeing on terms with Denver, though. Maybe he waits for "The Decision 2.0".

*** - Haslem is purely a guess from me. I don't know if he'd leave Miami, but I could see a fit here on a vet minimum deal. Didn't get enough playing time last year from Spo'.

Those are just several options, but it wouldn't be that difficult to get role players to join LeBron in Cleveland.

Wolves lineup:
PG: Rubio / LaVine
SG: Waiters / Martin
SF: Wiggins / Muhammad
PF: Thompson / Bennett
C: Pekovic / Dieng

Budinger, Barea, Mbah a Moute and Shved get left out of this young bunch. Good thing three of those are expiring contracts.

I think we need to figure we will have trading partners with the following teams.

Bulls, Celtics, Warriors, Rockets, and Kings. Not sure how the Parson's signing an offer effects the Rockets.

I worry if Flip doesn't play this right the options dry up. I am warming up to the idea of the Bulls.

Rockets are out of the conversation since Parsons signed an offer sheet with the Mavs.

Celtics could still offer us a big package around future draft picks, but I really don't think that's the direction Flip wants to go.

Kings are out of it as far as I'm concerned. They're likely still interested, but I can't see them beating other offers.

Bulls could still be in it, but it's looking unlikely with their pursuit of Melo and Gasol. If neither option is available to them, then I could see them offering something like Butler, McDermott, Gibson and a pick. Doesn't satisfy me to the fullest, but it's not exactly shitty either.

Warriors are lingering, but I really hope that's not the trade Flip wants. Thompson, Lee and Barnes is selling really low on a star player in my book. Lee has negative value with his contract, Barnes is a flat out bust and Thompson's in the same talent pool as Waiters for me.

In my opinion, it comes down to a big package around Wiggins from the Cavs... Or Flip's keeping Love and going to attempt to win with him. Either of those options I'm fine with because it guarantees at least a shot at having a star player on the roster. All the other potential offers don't leave me with the same feeling.

Cam, I'm wondering why you want to include Turiaf in a deal rather than one of our comparatively worse contracts? I admit I'm a Turiaf guy, and I never thought I would type these words, but Turiaf is untouchable in my opinion. He works hard and provides toughness off the bench, has a fabulous contract, and is really the only veteran leader we have in the locker room...great role model for our young guys.

I don't want to include him, but it's something I think could benefit Cleveland in loading up a bench with cheap contracts. Turiaf proved, to me at least, that he's still a rotation player in the NBA. His rim-protection, rebounding and high energy would be welcomed with open arms. He's not untouchable for Minnesota if we get that type of return from the Cavs. Plus we have Pekovic and Dieng manning the center position, with Fesenko looming if we needed more center depth.

I think a Cavs/Wolves deal can and should work out quite well for both teams.

If Turiaf is the kind of guy that Cleveland needs to make them feel comfortable about giving up 2 #1's and 2 #4's, then I agree with you...by all means, include him. Flip needs to do everything feasible to convince the Cavs to give us all that young talent. I just sense that Ronny has more value to us than them. But we're on the same page with hoping Flip pulls out all the stops to bring in those 4 guys.

That's funny. Also, not seen in that video is Dirk Nowitski getting a lap dance after he helps with sales pitch.

It is funny. I have this sneaky suspicion that Cuban is one of the world's biggest sleaze bags. The techno background music for finalizing contracts gives me a little ammo in this area but I want some more dirt. On the other hand, whatever works to get the job done I guess.

Parsons is a young, good-looking guy with money. Cuban is a middle-aged guy with a lot of money who acts young. They have to meet somewhere at midnight. Where are you going to do it?
