Robin Lopez
I would love to have Robin Lopez on this team. He's a rim protector, rebounds well and is an efficient scorer. I don't know how much it would take to get him here, but If he wanted to come here and we don't have the cap space, perhaps we can find help in shedding AB's contract.

Re: Robin Lopez
I recently read where Robin Lopez is looking at $10 - 12M per season. Possibly as high as $15M.
Seriously... it's a new era boys.

Portland expressed an interest in Pek when we signed Batum. I doubt they want Pek now with his injury history, but if so, I'd do a sign and trade in a heartbeat.

Comes as no surprise since guys like Jodie Meeks and Channing Frye made $8+M multi-year contracts last offseason.
As to the point of this thread. No way are we clearing that kind of cap space or moving Pek without taking on multiple bad contracts

Re: Robin Lopez
Chances of this happening are practically zero, but its fun to theorize what we might have had a chance to do if we weren't burdened by bad contracts of AB and Pek. Hopefully, we have ridden ourselves of the AB contract next year and with the new cap, we should be able to pursue a free agent or two.
Re: Robin Lopez
For years I thought Robin was underrated as a player. I know he had some flaws but seemed like a pretty nice fringe starting center or really quality backup. Is he the type of guy we can hope Dieng becomes with a higher ceiling as an offensive player?
