You don't have to love Tyus Jones (I can see why some wouldn't), but Flip just USED his 2nd round picks to improve the roster, rather than improving Glen's bottom line. Flip is on an absolute roll.

Do you see any asset trades in Budinger or Bennett coming up?

I could see one or both being traded, but I suspect it won't happen until free agency begins.

I agree...I almost see teams like Cleveland and Lakers, Miami and Dallas all being subpar on bench, depth or youth. Perhaps these guys can make there way with assets coming back. Shot in the dark of course but maybe with the assets we have now Flip can package these options for a solid starter.

Rubio, Jones
Martin, Lavine
Wiggins, Bazz
KG, Bjelica,Payne
Towns, Pek, Dieng

No more rookies this year.

Agreed. No room for more rookies/projects at this point. Wonder if Tyrus will play in D-League at all?

Something wrong with the current SF starter?

Can KG mentor an entire bench unit on how to play defense? Because I don't think we have a single guy coming off our bench that can stop anyone. This team is going to struggle big-time on the defensive end again.

A defensive PG wasn't going to all of a sudden make the second unit defensively respectable. Guys are going to have to step up on that end regardless.

The celtics have stockpile lots of solid young talents. None of them are likely to be stars and they have loads of picks to come. WOuld be interesting to see if they could eventually turn the players/picks into a legit star. Not as easy as it sound.

Of course not. But every little bit helps. It would be nice if KG only had to mentor 4 out of the 5 instead of all 5!

I just feel like we have a lot of offensive potential already in the mix. We need some defensive bulldogs out there now.

Im happy with the draft as a lot of us here. If flip and glen can buy a 2nd and draft TheSP then that would break this site!

Fair point on Flip actually using the 2nd rounders to obtain a real-life player vs. Mr. Cash.

Why does everyone want to just give away bennett for nothing? The guy was drafted 1st overall and played just over a hundred games and about 14 minutes per game. You got to give him a shot. I dont get the big rush to get rid of him?
