I know you and a lot of people do. I expect him have a career closer to Troy Bell then what people are thinking.

I don't have great expectations of him, a solid back up but the team is going to take a hit if Rubio goes down. On the other hand the Bulls and Cavs are both contenders today, they don't want a rookie backup IMO so to me their passing over Jones doesn't mean much.
I don't understand the thought process behind not reaching out to Undrafted Rookies and signing a couple that may be potential 13-15 roster spots. The Wolves have signed Zero. While LA has both Upshaw and Ashley. Both are talented...and the Lakers have no obligation to them if I'm understand the process. Why not go after a couple who may be dLeague or potential prospects.

Weird is all!
I think it's a tough sell all around because the wolves basically have no roster spots and already a really young team. In simple contrast a team like the Lakers has plenty of opportunity right now. In addition the Wolves don't have their own d-league team like some of these other teams so that probably makes it less likely to go too hard after guys also.
Weird? We have so many young guys that our Summer League roster is closer to being filled out than most of those teams that have picked up unsigned rookies. I view this as completely irrelevant!

Yes weird, I personally do not believe in the mantra of "since I have enough" I won't continue to find a better option. Now, I admit I am not familiar with all the details, but is Hummel, Hamilton, spot for Neal and I would say Brown are better then a possible dude who simply slipped in the draft? That's my reasoning for Weird. Youth is youth, but talent is talent IMO

I think monster nailed it...these guys all have agents who know which teams have the most open roster spots, and the Wolves are not currently on that list. I'm sure Milt/Flip reached out to a couple guys for SL, but their agents steered them in a different direction.
