If the options are that deal or lose him for nothing, I make that deal.

"The Chicago Bulls are offering Taj Gibson, Tony Snell, plus the No. 16 and No. 19 picks in this week's draft to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love."

Fuck them too.

Cam, what's the source of that rumor, and is it reliable? And did it come from the Wolves or Chicago?

This actually sounds to me like the quality of offers Flip is going to get, so I wouldn't be surprised if this rumor is true. I'd be inclined to turn it down, but I would have to consider it.

I'd take this deal only if augmented to include the rights to Mirotic. Ideally, I'd also want Jimmy Butler instead of Snell. I can't imagine the Bulls turning down the chance to add Love in order to keep the rights to Mirotic.

Did Sacramento offer us McLemore and #8 for Love? If so, that's better than the Chicago offer. Gibson will be 29 tomorrow and he doesn't do much for me.

No thanks. Keep the focus on Klay, Flip.

I think I probably take the deal if Butler is subbed for Snell. I don't know much about Mirotic, but isn't he expected to stay in Europe?

Two players that I like plus a couple picks in this deep draft, plus the benefit of putting the Love saga behind us, is a pretty decent return. Adding potentially 5 players to the roster while only losing one creates roster issues that give me a headache, but that's for Flip to figure out. Having 13, 16 and 19 gives his some packaging possibilities...maybe 2 of those picks becomes one better pick.

I always liked the idea of McLemore and #8, but I never saw anything substantial on it...chalked it up to just another internet rumor.

Pretty much my thought cam.

I dont like the bulls as trade partners. even if they add mirotic and sub butler instead of snell. What we are getting is a bunch of role players.

Regarding this years draft. Yes, its one of the strongest class in years but its a top heavy class. The non lottery picks onwards are a bunch of players that can be solid role players, rotation guys or busts. 16 and 19 do nothing for me. What little we got from kg and big al deal a few years later after thos deals, we'l get much less if we do this deal with chicago.

Gibson/Snell/16/19 = Shit

Faried/Chandler/Fournier = Shit

Thompson/Lee/Barnes = Shit

McLemore/No. 8 = Better than the above three, but still shit.

6/17/Olynyk/2016 BRK 1st = Best offer supposedly on the table.

1/Waiters/Thompson = No rumors yet, but is the money package.
