did rubio score 20 once this year?
Better question, why do you post such stupid comments?
In the 5 games without Love we played 4 playoff teams and Rubio averaged 15.8 ppg, which is over 6 ppg higher than his season average. One of those games happened to be against the heat and Rubio scored 1 point, if you throw that out as an outlier, Rubio averaged 19.5 ppg which is pretty close to 20.

Come now, whats the outlier, those 5 games or the 30 or 40 games he went 2 for 8 or 3 for 11. In all fairness he had way more turds shooting than diamonds. We can all point to certain numbers to support our arguments for or against Ricky at this point.

Nope.
4 times actually...and we won 3 of those games.
So how did rubio avg around 20 a game? Did he only play in 4 games?
Alex, your pushing it. A poster said rubio scored better in games that love miss. I dont think he is implying that rubio can average 20 a game! We all know he wont. Its just that with different players and a different dynamic and system, rubio's offense might benefit. He got to take more shots and score more in love's absence because we needed someone to take shots since our offense was built around love and he was out, thats by no means a design or style of play we play last season.
You asked if rubio scored 20 even once, another poster answered, he did, 4 times actaully and we won 3. Case closed, but you have to come back with something to drag this out.

Are you kidding? I thought I was pretty clear when I said games without Love, this is because I am hoping Love is trade soon and all games Rubio plays next your are without him. That means there are 5 games I am looking at, in these games Love scored 1, 16, 18, 19, and 25 points. Visually there is one clear outlier, I know it's a small sample size and that's why it's not a mathematical outlier. The point is, if you watched the games you would have also seen it regardless of the numbers, Rubio was a different player when Love wasn't playing.
Its o ne of those maybe, maybe nots kinda thing to me. Like u said its only 5 games. Im certainly hoping ur right tho. Love being out of those games may change his mindset but it doesnt change his mechanics , inability to finish drives or slow release IMO.
I said earlier in the year that Ricky's role in Adelman's offense this year was too reminiscent of his time with Barca, not quite as restrictive, but too restrictive for sure. I am really curious as to Flip's plan with Ricky; I have not heard his thoughts yet. I really hope he plans to give him the ball and set him free.
