Lineup changes for Wednesday

Post by TeamRicky [enjin:6648771] »

Sam Mitchell said there would be lineup changes for the Knicks game. My best guess is that we get a lineup of Karl, Dieng, Wiggins, Zach and Ricky.

It will be interesting. KG only played 13 minutes. He might be ready to run again tomorrow.

Nothing coming from Sam's noggin would surprise me at this point. Lets recap:

--About 11 seconds into training camp, to everyone's surprise, Lavine is named the starting 2 guard

--Later in pre-season Lavine is out as a starter, not exactly a confidence booster, but then strangely enough is inserted as the 2nd unit's point guard, a position he has already been shown to be ill-suited for

--After preaching that this is a "developmental" season repeatedly, Sam starts 35 year old Prince at the small forward

--Finally Sam realizes the Prince experiment is failing mainly because having 60% of your starting lineup not being able to score is an obvious problem on any basketball team much less at the NBA level, and despite Lavine coming on--especially in limited 2 guard minutes, he starts K-Mart, a player having a terrible season and also at age 33 not part of the team's future core

I figured Sam would coach all year and I was OK with that. But the way he has jerked Lavine around, among other things, makes me hope we could find someone sooner (by the all-star break?) than later who actually has a vision of the team's future.

What I hope to see in person tomorrow night

C Towns
PF KG
SF Wiggins
SG LaVine (I know. I'm at a point where I wanna see this too)
PG Rubio

What I fear Mitchell will do

C Towns
PF Payne
SF Prince
SG Wiggins
PG LaVine

He's not going to bench Rubio WildWolf. As I said in another thread, I'd be looking to trade Ricky, but he isn't going to bench him.

Sam said there would be lineup changes tomorrow night. Problem is he has no idea what they're going to be yet, just that he's going to make some. Maybe he and little Adelman can sit down at a NY deli and scribble something on a napkin. Sam is one of the biggest frauds we've ever had coach this team, and that's really saying something.

3 starting lineups in 3 months. Glad to see our head coach has a great vision for this team moving forward. What a joke.

Ricky/Lavine/Wiggins/NB/Towns
Tyus/Lee/Rudez/KG/Dieng

Please for the love of God get Martin off this team. He brings nothing to the table that can't be replaced. Martin for Courtney Lee just makes too much sense for both teams. Bazz is officially out of my rotation until he learns to be a team player.

Not as big of a fraud as Sid Lowe, Adelman Jr and Flip Jr. Atleast Sam was a half decent NBA player and actually had previously coached in the NBA before this gig. Sid Lowe is a joke and the Jr's simply inherited the roles from their fathers without any previous experience.

Which one of those muppets would you want running the show if Sam went down with health issues? God help us if that ever happens lol.

The only lineup change I see is martin out of the starting lineup. I don't see Sam starting lavine. I want lavine to start but I don't see Sam doing it because he will be contradicting himself and make himself look bad.

I think he starts bazz in place of martin. Sam will never bench Wiggins, towns, rubio and kg. He tried prince, martin and now I'm guessing he starts bazz tom.

If he's too proud/stubborn to start Lavine over our worst rotation player in Bazz then he needs to be fired tomorrow.
