btw. in that 82 games season Rubio let PGs score at .540+ eFG, so average PG scored against us as a top10 player in the league ..
and this happened like every game, getting killed by the simplest PnR you can imagine
Guys, I hear you on the outdated offense and lack of flow. However, we've scored 100 points or more in 6 straight games. I'm not suggesting that's because Mitchell is running anything brilliant; it's just a fact.
What is killing us right now is our inability to string stops together, especially after the 1st quarter. We are just getting murdered at least one or two quarters a game where the other team goes off for 35+ points. That just can't happen. We don't have the fire power to win many shootouts.
i was commenting our PnR D tho .. i do not care about offense that much if we can score somehow, however our best player is CLEARLY KAT already we should run more stuff for him and through him
That's not surprising to me. Sam's idea of a defensive game plan is try hard. His principles are based on effort primarily. How about putting your players in a position to succeed initially with a proper game plan and taking advantage it with intense effort?
He has everyone sledding uphill on both ends of the court. Effort and talent can only overcome so much.

Do you think he coaches to dip under every screen?I honestly don't know? Our guys are constantly chasing.
I do believe I read in one of our recent threads that he was quoted as specifically instructing players to go under screens. That may have been one particular game tho. It doesn't help that we can't seem to instruct people how to better navigate them.
