Love won't be traded, all of Flip's assistants he hires will be older with no trace of a "head coach in waiting", and Flip gives no indications whatsoever that this is a temp job. He wants to run the show in the front office and on the court, all of this being a bridge to an up and coming candidate talk is silly.

Yeah, if he rights the ship and gets this team to 50+ wins, why would he step down? That's like making a cool toy as a kid and then letting some other kid take your toy along with the credit.

I honestly don't give a shit if he steps down at all IF he can make this team good.

Yeah there was really no indication they were looking for a guy to transition and that's fine it makes sense in theory but mostly seems awkward unless its the perfect situation. There are a lot of questions about what the roster will look like in a few months if Flip really isn't wanting to coach (we will see) then when he has a clue what team he has going forward in a year or 2 or whatever he can hire the guy that they want. The way things are there should be at least some decent options availiable. Heck at least 6 guys could get fired by this time next year.
