trying to pass the time...
so my opinion
1. The KG trade
2. The Joe Smith under the table deal
3. Drafting Flynn over Curry
4. Not giving Love the max
5. Sam Cassell for Jaric and a 1st round pick
6. Hiring Kurt Rambis
7. Drafting Ebi over Josh Howard
8. Drafting Wes Johnson
9. Trading Ray Allen for Marbury on draft night
10. Hiring Randy Whitman
I didn't add the hiring of Flip or Glenn as GM because i wanted to go a little more specific

Good go but in all fairness:
1. Everything that happened before KG got here. There is no way to quantify how awful of a franchise we were in the first 10 years of our existence. We have had such a low bar for executives in our history that we have already become nostalgic for McHale who was one of the worst GMs in history before Kahn got here. Insane.

I would move the Jaric deal down and the Wes pick and Rambis hire up. The Rambis hire set this team back as much as anything Kahn did other than passing on Curry. That was two years that the team and players did not develop in any significant manner. As for Wes, that could have been Cousins, Hayward, or George.

Wow, this could be a top-100 list easily. Top blunder was easily the Rubio draft, taking 3 pt. guards and Kahn trying to be clever. We could have built a good team that year.
I think Marbury/Garnett could have been great together, but as we all know, Steph couldn't be #2.

I like the idea, but can't agree on a couple of them.
1) The KG trade was not ideal, but we owed it to KG. He wanted to win, and knew it was time to look elsewhere to do so. We didn't capitalize on the picks thus we never built a team around Al Jefferson. I'd say it's more about our blunders after the trade than it was of the actual trade. It wasn't a terrible trade.
2) Should probably be #1 on your list. It crippled our last chances of building a contender around Garnett. Was a very terrible move.
3) I actually was high on Flynn and thought he'd be a good player. It's very easy to say we should've drafted this and that, but how many people were actually that high on Steph Curry? Honestly?
7) Really wanted Howard there. Couldn't believe the Ebi pick. Who knows, maybe Howard could've provided a punch that year when Cassell went down.
I agree with whoever said it should be a top 100 list, there are too many mistakes in our relatively short history.
My number #1 in Twolves History is having Mr. Taylor as the owner. I guess it's not classified the same way, but it's the worst thing that ever happened to us.
