The Finals

Didn't get to watch the game, but I heard Leonard had a monster game against LeBron.

Also, anybody tired of the dynasty talk or the LeBron/Jordan comparisons yet?

Awesome basketball by the Spurs, and the Heat played pretty well too. It's just impossible to beat a team when they move the ball that well and hit so many shots. Leonard and Green got that team started, and Mills and Diaw really give them a boost too. Such a deep team.

Thanks for the recap Drew. Yeah, it just shows how far a deep bench can take you. Pop really monitors his starter minutes throughout the season and it pays off in the playoffs. He keeps people healthy.

Hard to shoot 58 percent for a half and be down by 20+

Spurs have too many guys who can hit shots. Green, Manu, Parker, Kawhi, Bellinelli, Mills, and Diaw. And then they have the Big Fundamental inside. Too much for the Heat who basically have (maybe) 3 players who they can rely on. Spurs also played a great defensive game yesterday in the first half which led to the giant lead.
I think it's really weird how LeBron goes from looking like an alltime great in game two to a player with 7 turnovers with a +/- of -21. He looked super passive and I have no idea why...

Boris Diaw is lowkey one of my favorite players in the league. I doubt he leaves San Antonio, but I'd love to get him to back up Love if we go for it one more time.

Spurs are definitely fun to watch. Ball and player movement are top notch. Unselfish team and when they need a creator or shot maker in iso situations, they have parker who is still one of the beat finishers in the game.

I have a question though, anyone knows why battier isnt playing? He was the starter last season for the heat and he seems to be burried on the bench this series. Is he injured or does he have little left in the tank?

He wasn't making shots. They turned to Rashard Lewis and he's been pretty damn good in his place. Unless he gets injured, I don't see them going back to Battier.

Thanks for the reply cam. Makes sense. Lebron can guard leonard and lewis gives them better size inside.

Beasley is inactive for the heat. He might actually be a hood option for them in this series as a sparknplug but i dont think the heat trust him.

And then the whole Jimmy Kimmel pregame thing making a mockery of the league. And today's NBA headline on the four letter website: Miami targeting Carmelo for Big 4. No really, it was an actual headline (did not click on it, patting myself on back).

This league is becoming a joke. I don't know if I can take another season of this. I wanna be a Wolves fan, I really do, but the last couple weeks have been extremely painful!
