I look at this as move forward with the next year. If we don't trade Love we will get to see how Flip wanted Adelman to coach this team last year. If he takes it to the playoffs it will show how bad of a job Adelman did last year.

A guy with zero coaching experience, will be ready to coach an NBA team in a year or two?

If Jason Kidd can do it, I really don't see any reason why Billups couldn't. He was always a player/coach on the court. Difference is there won't be the high expectations that Kidd had.

Kidd was clearly over his head as a coach. Plus Kidd has a wayyy bigger credibility as a player compared to Billiups

Went 34-17 from January til the end of the season. I doubted him early in the season, but you can't overlook how he changed the team's season. It was impressive.

Where do you come up with this stuff? I've never seen anyone as consistently short sighted as you are.

Good lord can we go outside the organization just once! This team has sucked forever! Why keep going back to getting the band back together. Couldn't be anymore frustrated!

I have no problem with this move. Experience? Check. Past success? Check. Has the organizations best interests at heart? Check. Rubio's Camp excited? Check? Not Sam Mitchell? Check.

Can ensure that rookies/young players get playing time? Check. Why? Because it's his ass if they don't develop.

Not Sam Mitchell. That part makes me the happiest.

Got rid of his top assistant early into the season. The spilled drink stuff. Almost losing to a team who had wayy less talent in the raptors. Gave zero challenge to the heat

If David Blatt comes on as a HC in waiting, I like it better.

Don't care about the top assitant mainly because we don't know exactly how things played out. Spilled drink was bad, but only because he was caught on camera. Raptors had less talent? That's not how I saw it at all. And that's not that surprising. The Heat are back-to-back champs for a reason.
