I am pretty sure no team ever used a #5 pick hoping he would turn out to be David Lee.
Answer this honestly Alex. Do you think Love was playing hard on defense over the last few years?

You know what he means though. Straight up saying "I want out of Minnesota" might be a dig that he doesn't like the fans or the city, which I think he actually does.
None of these guys care about the fans or the city!
They care about getting their paycheck, and winning titles that they can't earn.
They said Lebron couldn't be the man to win a title so he had to go meet up with Wade and be his number 2. Guess what? Lebron is the man on the Heat and he's winning titles. They said KG couldn't be the man on a title team. Guess what? 1st year traded, he wins a title being the man. Now people say Love can't be the man. We'll see what happens.
Lebron isn't winning titles. The Heat cheated, so I don't recognize them. Lebron, Bosh, and Wade colluded with Riley to take less money so they could load up their team. Their so called titles are a slap in the face to players who did it the right way. I was so glad when the lakers lost to Detroit when Malone and Payton took pennies on the dollar just to try and get a title as if it would mean anything.
Cheated? So what, you believe you should be stuck with whatever shitty front office that drafted you for your entire career?

No Love isn't a great defender. Ill counter your question with another. Name one other player who puts up the kind of numbers Love does and plays better defense. Lebron and Durant are the only ones
Watching love saying those comments live is more telling than reading them. Im convinced love wants out.
If very good and playoff teams like cle, orl and den cant win enough to convince their stars to stay with money on their side as well, I dont see us doing the same. Love has check out.

And they are making the PO's! I didn't ask what kind of defender Love was, I asked if he was playing hard on D.
Defense wins championships!
I have no problem with a player leaving a team, but the Heat colluded to take less money, and then a year later Wade (the stupid SOB) was in the labor talks telling Stern that he should be making 50 mil a year. That might ring a little truer if you hadn't just left 3-4 mi a year on the table to buy a ring.
The NBA has a salary cap and a draft lottery for a reason. These players cry like the little bitches they are that it is a business, right up until they aren't winning. Then they look for ways to cheat.

Defense wins championships. Thats why the Spurs won last night because they shot like 90% from the floor. Talent wins championships. Love has talent. The wolves did a terrible job of adding talent around him
