Re: Your Name
I had totally missed this thread since I had summer vacation. It was nice to read some information about forum regular posters. I was surprised that there are also quite many younger members. I had thought that younger people are only using Twitter, whatsups etc. :P
My forum name is Mikkeman because my three year old son has nick name of Mikke. I am already well past 40 year old male. I started following Wolves board after Rubio went to NBA. I was not ever real Rubio fan but I still liked his game in Europe even though he was terribly miss used in last couple of years by his team. I used to just read Wolves ESPN board because of good quality of posts there. Back then I read also some other forums and even posted for some of them. I was big fan of Toni Kukoc and followed mainly his teams. When ESPN forum ended I jumped here. I think that change was good because it is so nice to have a forum without any real trolls. I basically became Wolves fan mainly because of the exceptional quality of this forum.:)
I live in Finland. Have been living there my whole life except short stint in China. I work in DSP SW area in telecommunications business and I love numbers. Maybe one of the main reasons why I originally started following basketball (I was about 10 years old at that time) was that there is some much statistics available. Later at high school I started also playing it little because I was typically the tallest guy in my school class. (I'm 6'5) Since it is so great game, I have continued to play it already 25 years.

Finland! Very cool Mikkeman, thanks for sharing.
Re: Your Name
Love how many global wolves fans there are here. We may need a convention somewhere exotic at some point. Spain???

Re: Your Name
Hi guys, my name is Pavel, i am 33yo from Prague, the Czech republic, i am part time programmer, part time FOREX trader (together it gives enough).
My love for wolves started in KG era with playing NBA videogames as a timberwolf for months, i admit that few years i havent watched wolves much (for obvious reasons as they sucked and games are starting at 2-3AM here).
But with on demand videos over the internet, i started to follow the team again more. I played fantasy leagues on ESPN so it was close for me to start to read old boards over there. And that is why i am here. Usually in deep lurk mode though :-) .

Wow, so we've got Finland, New Zealand, an expat in Germany, Czech Republic, Australia (I think)....I'm probably missing someone. That's a pretty global community for a fairly small board population overall. Good stuff.

Plus Eitan from Jerusalem. We are definitely globally diverse!
Re: Your Name
This is a pretty diverse group but in some ways it shouldn't be surprising. The Wolves have been pretty diverse for a few years now. The list of guys with ties to countries other than the US on this roster is longer than the ones that aren't. That's kinda neat.
