The race for the first pick continues- GDT, Canadian version...eh?

Post by longstrangetrip [enjin:6600564] »

I haven't watched the Wolves much recently, but I plan to at least watch the start of the game tonight. Expectations are low. I hear Rubio is back, but the other 6 are out...plus Hamilton, who is ill. Does this mean Gorgui and Payne need to play all 48? Unfortunately, no...we will see some Bud at the 4.

Not much to get excited about. Maybe the return or Ricky, or the return of Andrew to Canada. Whoo Hoo!

Actually, I guess the thing to be most excited about is the chance to see Zach with serious minutes at SG. With LoBrow and Ricky at the point, Zach should be at SG for at least 20 minutes.

I wonder if this is the first time opposing coaches last faced each other coaching the other team!

Phone rings.

Mitchell: Hello

Flip: Sam. Flip. What's with all the three-point attempts in the first quarter? 7? That's almost as many as Toronto took, and that's not Wolves basketball. Let's get back to the game plan, and get them forcing up some contested 2's

Mitchell: Should I tell everyone to quit shooting threes?

Flip: No, just the guys that can't make them. Bud can still put them up.

Mitchell: Got it.

Well, quarter one did not go according to plan. The Wolves won the quarter!

Really nice minutes for Brown...5 assists and no TO's in 6 minutes. and Martin is on fire.

Big foul problems though with only 7 1/2 players.
