Draft a total crapshoot....

Post by Hicks123 [enjin:6700838] »

This is one of the ONLY Bill Simmons articles I would ever recommend. Interesting. And in a strong draft, it would seem just as likely we hit at 13 as in the 1-3 spot. Hope Wolves management makes the right call.

Yep, total crapshoot. Doesn't make any sense to trade Love for a high pick, that's why you gotta trade for equal (or close to) veteran talent. It not, keep him for next year. Boooooo! Booooooo!!!!!!

I get so bored with these so called pro writers. There isn't a GM/VP in the league that is looking to trade because he's afraid to choose himself, not one. Once you get past the top three or four players you have as good a chance of hitting on a quality player outside the lottery as you do in. In that case would you not consider trading one early lottery pick for two mid round picks?

I don't know if Simmons writes to inflate his own ego or if it's nothing but click bate. All these writers seem to think they know more than the people running these teams and with Kahn gone they don't have that to fall back on.
