Could the West get any tougher?

Post by alexftbl8181 [enjin:6648741] »

Jesus, every team around the Wolves got a perfect fit for their squad. Chandler should be much better playing with Dallas and that staff. Asik gives NO just what they needed without having to give up Anderson. Affalo is a great fit next to TY.

There's no point in having an eastern conference anymore. Any team besides Utah or the Lakers would be no worse then 3rd in the east. Unbelievable

I love it. Hopefully, the Wolves realize that the current roster can't cut it in the west and they need to build a team the right way by building thru the draft.

Besides the Thunder and Spurs, who are these "great" teams that build through the draft? Typically, it is a blend of drafting, FA and trades that enable a team to make the leap. The Thunder and Spurs are the exception, not the norm. My point is there are clearly multiple ways to put together a winning team. Now, I would agree more if you said that a non-destination team like the Wolves needs to focus on building through the draft. That may be more true, but still probably not realistic.

I'm sure you'll be buying those season tickets to watch the 15 win wolves for the next 5 years

Just wait till Carmelo and LeBron get to buddy up in the West (Lakers). Excuse me while I go puke now.

The West can get tougher if we trade Love to the Dubs...

Good. If the west keeps piling it on, maybe Silver will eliminate conferences altogether.

I don't even live in Minnesota anymore, so season tickets are out of the question. But I'd rather watch a team filled with young talent than a veteran team struggling every year to even make the playoffs. All we need is one guy like Wiggins and add him to Ricky and Dieng and we got a new core. We'd only have to suck for a year or two and our picks plus whatever we got for Love, could replenish the roster. No 5 year rebuild needed unless we make stupid trades that prolong mediocrity.
