What's changed? The value is more concrete but it's no higher than the value we imagined before the draft.

S/T Pau Gasol + Julius Randle >>> Klay Thompson + David Lee

I talked about a Gasol + 2014 1st trade how many weeks (or months) before the draft?? It's not phenomenal value, but it's better than anything that's been rumored. Plus I have a draft crush on Randle. I think he's gonna be damn good.

What is the value of Gasol on a S&T? If we sent Love and a couple bad contracts to LA, wouldn't we be able to just sign him ourselves? I like Randle, but I agree with Foye. The value from LA hasn't really changed.

Since we are entering FA, the GS trade has another wrinkle. Klay can be extended now, and that would help determine his value depending on what type of contract he gets going forward. That extension would be mandatory for me before signing off.

Cam - Lakers also are back in the mix for me, even though I really don't wanna see Love in So Cal. S/T of Gasol + Randle and whatever else we can get. Maybe dump Budinger and Mbah a Moute off on them. As soon as Randle slipped, I knew they would take him. Was a top-five player in the draft for me. Big potential even though some don't think so. We'd get a "win now" player in Gasol too.

I like this. In two drafts we have added Bazz, Dieng, GR3, Lavine, and now Randle. Gasol would make Ricky happy, this would be a team with real potential

Could we get the Lakers to throw in a future first with Randle? If they give up Pau and don't sign any of the star free agents, then they will be horrible even with Love. That would be my favorite deal other than getting Wiggins.

If the Wolves were giving up Love, the LEAST the Lakers would be expected to do would be Randle and a couple of firsts...and still I'd laugh them off.

It sounds like everyone is opting out on the Heat I expect Lebron to stay there. Sorry Cleveland (wait I don't feel sorry for Cleveland) sorry Wolves fans that want Wiggins I don't think that's going to happen.

I fully expect Love to be on this team when the season starts. People here keep saying we want a legit run franchise that looks for a championship. What franchise that's looked back as really good trades away a superstar especially one that's young like Love? There isn't any that I can think of. Those franchhise that trade a star mostly get looked back on years later and people say, "WTF were they thinking?" I'll say this I bet Love is at least a little intruiged by the Wolves draft since he is a UCLA guy and one that's a student of the game so he probably knows about GR3 too. I'm not saying that's gonna really sway him or anything but hey who doesn't get excited about talented young players?

I'll agree the Lakers are back in the mix now that they have Randle but I think a three team deal is necessary to make it all work. Celtics have so many assets and I could see the Lakers wanting Rondo. I like Jeff Green, Gasol, Olynk, Randle, Bradley. Would love to get rid of Barea, Love, Martin, Budinger and Brewer. Also a Brooklyn first or Laker first next year would be nice.

Rubio/Shved/MLE
Bradley/LaVine
J Green/Bazz/G Rob
Gasol/Randle/bah Moute
PEK/Dieng/Olynk/Turiaf

I see defense and potential in this squad.

Lakers get
Rondo
Barea
Budinger

Celtics get
Love
Brewer
Martin

I doubt that Love has been too impressed by the Wolves offseason to date. I know it's still early, but they really haven't improved the team much in my opinion. LaVine is a long term prospect, GR3 lasted until round 2 for a reason. No other moves. At this point, their best chance for post season play next year appears to be to remain healthy, and even that may not be enough.

Love and Rondo have to go to the same team. No way Love resigns in Boston without Rondo
