Ronny Turiaf? Really?

Post by DNatagal »

So I have seen rumors around the old interwebs saying that the Wolves are a leading candidate for Ronny Turiaf. Does that mean that someone is going? Do we really need him? What the F is going on around here?

I was thinking the same thing. This is like Lou Amundson all over again. If we can't find a younger more talented option than there is something wrong with our scouts. Also am I the only one who wants Chris Johnson to make the roster?

I would like to see CJ make the roster, but I understand the desire to get a big body at the C spot. Dieng and CJ are both pretty lanky, while Turiaf would give us some girth in the post if we are matched up with a lumbering center.

That said, I'd still rather have CJ than Turiaf. Think CJ could be pretty good based on what I saw last year.

If they're going to sign Turiaf, that gives them also Love, Pek, CJ, Dieng and Williams at the 4-5. For Heaven's sake, deal Cunningham to a place where he can play, or just release him. He will have no trouble finding a job.
