Any guesses as to what KAT meant by "Situational Things"?

My guess is featuring him as a facilitator. Thibs iso offense often neglect towns to be a screen setter and secondary option.

I compared towns to chris webber with a 3 point shot when he was a going into his rookie season but he has yet to play in a system where we run the offense tru him. I always felt adelman's corner offense would be perfect for towns.

That said. The 40% comment is kinda silly but I agree that thibs is terrible at developing guys when he was the coach here.

As the article points out, "Towns managed to put up monster numbers this past year in spite of everything, averaging 24.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 blocks per game while posting a true shooting percentage of 62.2 percent."

Even though Towns could stand to improve a lot defensively, the 40% comment is obviously ridiculous -- unless he's going to start putting up Wilt Chamberlain numbers. :) Honestly, we've all known for some time that Thibodeau wasn't optimizing KAT's abilities. KAT has a tremendously versatile skill set that, in addition to his excellent post-up game, includes 3-point shooting, ballhandling and passing. Heck he was the first big man to win the allstar game skills competition. So it will be fun to see him turned loose. But he has to step up more defensively. He doesn't have to be great defensively. There have been a lot of poor defenders who have still been superstars and winners, including James Harden and Magic Johnson. Nevertheless, KAT needs to improve on that end of the court.

MVP Giannis just said he was at 60% of his talent so...that's where this all started.

I'm at only 17% of my posting talent.

Lip is clearly the one holding me back.

LOL. I got a great laugh from the Abe and Bleed posts. But this one is the winner. As a side note, I've decided to turn Abe loose. From now one, I'll be encouraging him to take advantage of his full panoply of posting skills.
