Here are some more details about the Napier and Graham acquisition. I can't believe we got such incredible value for Lior Eliyahu. I'll REALLY miss that guy. We literally got 2 players for free.

The Warriors paid out $3.6 mil to dump the contracts of Treveon Graham and Napier - good job of Minnesota leveraging to get the most out of GST's need to stay below the hard cap. Warriors gave up all that $ for the rights to a Eliyahu who was drafted in 2006 @BBallInsiders

Treveon Graham's salary was a non-guaranteed $1,645,357 - the Warriors got a $1,597,100 trade exception so that tells us the amount guaranteed by Brooklyn to make the KD deal go through - similar story w/Napier $1,597,100 of his $1,845,301 @BBallInsiders

Two bigs that I would love to take a flyer on are now available. Christian Wood and Daniel Theis. Wood was a per minute monster for a stretch near the end of the season (boards, blocks, efficient shooting and some 3 pointers). Theis is a defensive player and shot blocker who can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting. Both have good per minute stats and very good net ratings. I'd take either over Treveon Graham or Nazr Reid.

The Celtics are actually still keeping Theis it will just be a different way of spending their money to sign him (which is why they rescinded the qualifying offer) to the 2 year 10 million contract. I was surprised he would have been available so I read further.

Christian Wood has intrigued me for a while. I'm not sure we have more room for another young big (Naz Ried is on a 2-way contract so that doesn't exactly matter) and Wood might want a different opportunity. I'd certainly at least give his agent a call. It seems Like maybe some negative stuff from the past he may have matured from.
