Unfortunately, the Lakers have a lot of good players. It's what happens when you combine the market and Lebron. Health is going to be the big thing with them. If Lebron and AD play 70 games they are going to be right there for best record in the West.

I agree, Cool. It really depends on AD's healthy. His only weakness is his lack of durability. That would have mattered less when LeBon was 28-30 years old. But at age 35, he needs a healthy AD for at least 70 games.

Health matters but I also think Lebron is the guy that both Cousins and even AD need. I don't think either guy has ever been able to be THE man (Obviously not Cousins). but now they have Lebron even if he can't play every game I think just having that top guy will be good for them. Meanwhile they have vets like Danny Green and Rondo is a guy both guys have positive history with. I think IF the coaching staff doesn't hold things back we might see a pretty useful player in Cousins if he can stay healthy. He doesn't have to be the man but he can also show up and help in a variety of ways. It will be interesting to see what identity that team try's to take on.

Cousins actually looks like he's in terrific shape. Lost a lot of weight with a vegan diet if I remember correctly. You can visibly see a big difference in his appearance. I'm not saying that will mean anything in terms of basketball, but Cousins is clearly putting the work in.

Love Boogie but I'm not sure what's going to make it work for him. I guess try Veganism. Can't hurt at this point. Maybe Wiggins should become a baconist to put on some weight.

I'm not looking forward to this year. We've gone the scrap heap route before looking for diamonds and failed. KAT will likely go 28/12 and we'll barely win 30 games increasing the national narrative that he needs to get out and go to a better market. This year is just gonna be ugly.

This is probably the most accurate post on this thread unfortunately.

The biggest kick in the sack will be watching okc finish ahead of us with 20 first round picks in the next 7 years.

I'm looking forward to the season more than any season since KAT's first and second year. Why? I look forward to seeing Ryan, Prigs and VP coach, KAT becoming a better all around player, Culver's development and seeing if Wiggs can shut up his critics. I want to see a healthy Cov. I want to see if Jordan Bell can develop from the promise he had shown as a rookie. I want to see if Okogie can become a plus overall player. I want to see if the Wolves are capable for once of developing free agent or overlooked talent. I don't care if we make playoffs as long as I see good player development and in fact, I kind of hope we miss the playoffs and have a lottery pick as we need to draft a point guard in 2020 (unless Culver can be the guy) and next year is supposed to be loaded with pgs.

I'm on board with pretty much everything you said here.
