I started watching with about 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and the guys that really stood out in a positive way we're Brown and Martin. Brown lived up to the defensive and his ball handling was pretty good. His passing was not on target even if they may have been the right reads. Oh and Naz Reid looked good on offense and I also see how he had high body fat at the combine.

I'm curious to hear Lip's thoughts especially on how guys look physically.

The two standouts for the Wolves today were Reid and Martin. Reid has great potential. He's big, strong and smart with a nice-looking 3-point shot. Martin is tough and all heart. He appears to love playing defense and played really well on that end except for a few mental lapses. He reBound really well and has a nose for the ball. He also has some offensive skills.

Dipo and Okogie played well, but Okogie was disappointing. If he's going to be the player I think he can become he needs to dominate Summer League at this point. But he wasn't as bad as Q suggests. Dipo was very solid.

I like Barry Brown. Creek played hard and isn't bad. Disappointing that Nowell didn't get in the court.

I can do without seeking Murphy or McLaughlin.

Brown seemed much better than McLaughlin on both ends, although Mac improved late in the 4th.

I'd like to see the Wolves sign Martin to a 2-way contract if we still have one to give.

The Wolves players who impressed me today were Reid, Martin, KBD, and Brown.

Players who disappointed me the most were Okogie, Terrell and Creek.

The players I predict will never play in the NBA are McLaughlin and Murphy.

Its a bit hard to read but I think this has Martin down for a 7'3' or 7'5" wingspan.

I want to see more before giving him a 2-way deal. I also want to see more of Brown.

Yeah, Martin was pretty impressive out there. Definitely has an NBA body. He played for a German club team last year (same one as Jordan Crawford and Trevor Mbwake) and was their second leading scorer. Prior to that he played 4 years at Butler, so he is one of the older players out there. I'd need to see another couple games from him before giving him a 2-way.

Liked how the team came out after the break and really dominated. They definitely picked up their defensive intensity.

I just watched these extended highlights. There was a couple plays here in the first half were Martin didn't look good defensively.

Also worth noting this is the Wolves first actual game. The Cavs had already played a couple games in another league. Usually the team that has played together does better in the early games. Like Q said the Wolves dominated in the 2nd half.

Those were Martin's mental lapses early in the game I was referring to. The head coach got on him for those and it was all good after that. Interestingly, Reid spent some time talking to Martin giving him a pep talk after the coaches got in him. Reid is very vocal. Seems like a great teammate.
